WTF I am speechless. That was perfect. Not only was the live singing(as confirmed by Show Champion Official Facebook page) flawless, their stage presences were as solid as rocks! Perhaps it was due to the lack of performance opportunities they’ve had in China, each member unleashed so much charm and performed with such explosive power, it was as if this were their goodbye stage! Their expressions, movements, vocals… everything was A+++
Pro:
- Kris’ EVERY SINGLE close-up expression… and that wink, need I say more????????
- Lay’s dancing - sharp sharp sharp~ I love how his flips his jacket every time he turns, so theatrical. I’ve commented on Lay’s dancing before, but I’ll say it again, Lay’s kinesthetic control is his most valuable attribute, and that’s why watching Lay dance is like drinking a cup of tea, you savor every single sip of that carefully crafted art. Especially after reading those tear-jerking accounts.
- Lu Han’s close-up near the end. He may look like a curious adorable child off stage, but on this stage his magnetic manly maturity ensues. Lu Han knows how to steal the hearts of fans of all ages~!
- Chen’s ad-libs - he never fails to impress, always on key, and his voice always resonates. I never have to cross my fingers when I hear him sing, it’s so relaxing… and that’s how his singing is meant to be savored.
- Xiu Min! - Same as Lu Han, little bun can transform from a bubbly maknae-wannabe into a dominating, fierce hyung in an instant! That boy knows where the cameras are! He’s always looking straight into it, trying to make fangirls blush! FYI: I couldn’t help but to chuckle a little when the screamo part came on, because that’s my alarm! X-D
- Tao’s flip - effortless! He messed up a little on EXO-M’d debut stage in China due to his back injuries. But this time you can see how he instilled every move with the confidence of a kungfu master! Also I really adore Tao’s stage charm~ There weren’t that many cuts of him but those briefly moments when Tao did appear, he instantly had my attention.
- One more thing: can we all just appreciate the fact that SM finally gave the boys a change of clothes??? LOL I could literally memorize each of their old outfits by now.
Con:
- wish there was more close-ups of Lay, Tao and Xiu Min. :-(
- actually I wish there was a close-up version of everyone, and I wish for a stage version where you can see everybody at once. Too demanding you say? …I guess this is when I’m supposed to go online and seek fancams. hahaha XD
